Karen Beake is an experienced finance professional who has spent nearly 30 years in the industry. She is the Founder and Director of Beakes Financial Solutions, a company that provides comprehensive financial services.
Karen’s career began at Nationwide Building Society, where she started as a Cashier and eventually became a Customer Services Manager. During this time, she realised her passion for helping people and the importance of excellent customer service, which remains a central focus in her work today. After her tenure at Nationwide, Karen transitioned to the Insurance sector of Lloyds Banking Group. She then moved to NatWest, where she obtained her CeMAP mortgage qualifications in 2012. This qualification allowed her to provide professional mortgage advice to new and existing clients.

In 2019, Karen made the decision to become a self-employed Mortgage and Protection Adviser, offering her services across the entire mortgage and protection markets. This move allowed her to have more independence in her work and cater to the specific needs of her clients. Since then, she has been thriving in her new role and hasn’t looked back.
Later in 2019, Karen expanded her expertise by passing her CeRER exam. This qualification enables her to provide qualified advice on Equity Release and other financial products designed for later life. This additional knowledge and certification further enhance her ability to provide comprehensive financial solutions to her clients.

With her extensive experience in the finance industry and her commitment to excellent customer service, Karen is well-equipped to assist individuals with their mortgage and protection needs, as well as provide specialised advice on financial products for later life.

Based in West Moors on the south coast near Bournemouth, our clients are not only in the Dorset area but nationwide; from Northumberland to Lizard Point; Lands End to Lowestoft and everywhere in between.

Although we love meeting our clients face to face, we realise this is not always possible due to location or time constraints.  With today’s technology, it is just as easy to jump on an online video meeting or have a group chat via WhatsApp. Alternatively, just an ordinary phone call.
